REVIEW: Lick Library, Eric Clapton
Lick Library, Learn to play Eric Clapton.
Presented by Jamie Humphries.
RRP £24.99 GBP.

Up to Lick Library standards, superb sound and picture quality.
The songs are well explained but there are a few points where the chords are brushed over rather than explained fully, but you can pause the DVD to take a look at positioning if necessary.

Rob Chappers Rock Guitar Tuition 1 – Review
Rob Chappers Rock Tuition 1
I discovered Rob Chapman last year on his YouTube channel whilst looking for reviews on the PRS Custom 24, since then I have met him at World Guitars from which I got some really good advice before making my purchase. He has been endorsed by several companies including PRS and Orange and is soon to have his own signature series guitar made so he knows what he is talking about, he is also a really nice chap who has offered me great pieces of advice in my own YouTube and music ventures.

Rob Chappers DVD
This DVD does a good job of breaking away from the normal straight forward tuition by blending well explained techniques with humour, which keeps it interesting and easy to follow. The presentation and sound quality are excellent and up to the standards of any tuition dvd I have seen on the market, the box and disc are professionally printed making for a really great product.
Contents:
- Rob Chappers Top Tips
- Hand Positioning and Ergonomics
- Exercises for Economy and Alternative picking
- Legato and Sweeping overview
- Rock Licks - Llexi Leon
- Scale Connection
I would recommend this for anyone wanting to either improve on their current technique or want to learn to start shredding, thats the main reason for my purchase!!
Overall:
- Presentation 5/5 - cant fault Chappers on this one
- Sound Quality 5/5 - as good as anything ive heard
- Value for Money 4/5 - Competitively priced product, in the same league as the Lick Library ones
G | H rating = 4/5 highly recommended

Lick Library – Guns N Roses DVD
Ive started to work my way through the Lick Library Guns N Roses DVD, thought it was about time to learn that classic solo from Sweet Child O Mine...
Danny Gill is the tutor on this one and he explains everything nice and slowly to allow you to pick up some of these complicated tracks. I would recommend getting it for the solo lessons alone as its not always easy trying to pick them up from tab books.
Overall:
- Presentation 5/5
- Sound Quality 5/5
- Value for money 4/5 - Expensive but then it is split over two dvd's
G | H Rating = 4/5 Essential purchase for any GNR and Slash fan
