Whats your workhorse?
I've had my trusty Fender Mexican Stratocaster for over 10 years now and its gotten a bit of a beating over the years with rehearsing and house moves but still going strong.
This is a 90's Mexican, the build quality isn't 100% but one of the best necks I've played.

Strat and Cat
I have replaced all the pickups with the following:
- Bridge - Seymour Duncan Jb Jnr
- Mid - Fender Texas special
- Neck - Fender Texas special
In short this guitar is great for rock and blues, the Seymour Duncan instantly gives you that maiden super strat tone and the Texas specials (as used on the SRV signature model) give a great twangy blues tone, although they don't handle OD too well.
Dont think I will ever give this one up.

Either my 02′ Mexican Strat, or my LC-316 Custom Les Paul copy.
I’m saving up to buy a Dean 79′ ML with a Floyd Rose double locking tremelo!
The PU’s on my strat aren’t the best, but get the job done. And my dad and I installed a EMG Select humbucker in the bridge of my LP Copy. That thing needs a better paint job, and a new neck, and it will rock even HARDER!!!
