LANEY GH100L – Overview
Wanted to do a post about my favourite amp in the world, the LANEY GH100L.
Laney GH100L
Its a 100w single channel head, which is the loudest amp I've ever heard....
Its great for blues/rock/metal, which has a nice clean tone but also has wicked gain (can be operated via an optional footswitch) meaning no need for an OD pedal although if using for bedroom levels it might be worth getting one to get a bit more control over the volume (this is loud!).
I've used it in rock and blues based bands and it performs very well, in my opinion this is the best amp for the money available.
