All the Lick Library DVD's I've covered have excellent production. The sound quality is outstanding, Menu's easy to navigate and filmed at the best angles to see what is being played.

REVIEW: Lick Library, Eric Clapton
Lick Library, Learn to play Eric Clapton.
Presented by Jamie Humphries.
RRP £24.99 GBP.
Presentation
Up to Lick Library standards, superb sound and picture quality.
The songs are well explained but there are a few points where the chords are brushed over rather than explained fully, but you can pause the DVD to take a look at positioning if necessary.

Two DVD's covering:
- Layla

- Cocaine
- White room
- Bad love
I would say this is aimed at the intermediate guitarist.

This DVD covers a lot of different blues licks and gives you the base knowledge that you need to start playing some blues, points worth mentioning:
- 34 licks based around major and minor pentatonic

Overall

Lick Library – Guns N Roses DVD
Ive started to work my way through the Lick Library Guns N Roses DVD, thought it was about time to learn that classic solo from Sweet Child O Mine...
Danny Gill is the tutor on this one and he explains everything nice and slowly to allow you to pick up some of these complicated tracks. I would recommend getting it for the solo lessons alone as its not always easy trying to pick them up from tab books.
Overall:
- Presentation 5/5
- Sound Quality 5/5
- Value for money 4/5 - Expensive but then it is split over two dvd's
G | H Rating = 4/5 Essential purchase for any GNR and Slash fan
